Ashura is a 2005 Japanese horror film, starring Ichikawa Somegorō VII, Rie Miyazawa and Kanako Higuchi. Directed by Yōjirō Takita, it is a film adaptation of a 1987 Kazuki Nakashima play set in the 16th century. It was released on DVD-Video in the United Kingdom by Yume Pictures in 2006, and in the United States by AnimEigo in 2007.
